I am a Head of Personal and Social Education and teacher of Mathematics at the United World College of South East Asia in Singapore. I am currently implementing and refining a new PSE curriculum and exploring pedagogical tools such as Philosophy for Children to provide a useful framework. As a classroom Mathematics Teacher, I am interested in all aspects of STEM and how, in particular,  critical analysis and collaboration can be integrated into the classroom in order to provide pupils with the skills they need to succeed in the global knowledge economy. In addition, my background in International Development and International Relations also enables me to develop these higher order thinking skills in pupils in a wider context through my involvement in the innovative inter-disciplinary subject of global perspectives.
